Until now, ACOGs have not been sold or allowed to be used in Japan because the tritium content used to illuminate the reticle exceeds domestic regulations. However, thanks to the collaboration between Trijicon and Novelarms, an ACOG that meets Japanese regulations will now be released! Don't miss this opportunity!
US Marine Corps Model : Trijicon ACOG® 4×32 USMC RCO Riflescope – M16A4
The TA31RCO is an Advanced Combat Optical Sight (ACOG) designed for the USMC's M16A4 weapon system (20-inch barrel).
The TA31RCO (Rifle Combat Optic), a model adopted by the US Marine Corps, has a 4x magnification and a range of up to 800m adjustable by the BDC. It also features a red, inverted V-shaped Chevron reticle, and the brightness of the reticle changes according to the ambient light, making it suitable for use in any lighting environment.
All US military-adopted models are waterproof to a depth of 11 meters, and only the M150CP comes with a lens cap. ACOG (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight) riflescopes are specifically designed for military use, offering the right combination of magnification, low-light capabilities, and long eye relief for users who require rapid target identification and maximum situational awareness.
Equipped with the Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC), it allows you to operate with both eyes open. The ACOG model requires no batteries. It features fiber optics and a tritium fluorescent lamp. The fiber optics uses ambient light to automatically adjust the reticle's brightness level and contrast to available light conditions, while the tritium fluorescent lamp remains lit in dark places. It's truly "ALWAYS ON, ALWAYS READY" - always ready.
The fixed-output design minimizes moving parts for a targeted system. The quality of the glass and multi-coated lenses ensures light-gathering capabilities and a clear, distortion-free field of view. It features bullet compensation and a target-ranging reticle for decisive aiming. The rugged body is constructed from forged 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, easily passing U.S. military drop-test requirements. Its waterproof performance exceeds military standards, and the dry-nitrogen-filled housing mitigates fogging, allowing it to withstand extreme cold and heat.
Industrial products that use tritium are regulated by the Atomic Energy Basic Act (Act No. 167 of 1957, Act on the Regulation of Radioactive Isotopes, etc.).
Under current law, the sale and use of products containing 1,000MBq or more of tritium is prohibited.
