The URX4 (Upper Receiver Extending 4) M-LOK is a fourth-generation free-float handguard for the AR platform, developed by Knight's Armament Company (KAC), an American firearms manufacturer. Inheriting KAC's long-standing design philosophy for rail systems, it further pursues lighter weight, increased rigidity, improved operability, and enhanced modularity compared to conventional models. It is adopted in modern AR platforms, including the SR-15 series, and is known as one of KAC's signature handguards.

The URX4's most significant features are its lightweight and highly rigid one-piece construction and KAC's unique IBN (Integrated Barrel Nut) system. By having the handguard body also function as the barrel nut, it ensures excellent fixing rigidity while reducing the number of parts and weight. The free-float structure minimizes unnecessary interference with the barrel, contributing to stable shooting performance.

It features a full-length Picatinny rail on the top, with M-LOK interfaces on the sides and bottom. This allows for the attachment of weapon lights, laser devices, foregrips, sling mounts, and more at desired positions, achieving high expandability. Additionally, compared to traditional quad rails, it is slimmer and easier to grip, offering nimble handling performance.

The URX4 M-LOK is a modular handguard that integrates KAC's high design technology with lightweightness, rigidity, and expandability at a high level. It combines a minimalist, functional design with excellent practicality and is highly regarded as one of the rail systems symbolizing modern ARs.
