The SIG MPX Copperhead (3.5-inch) is an ultra-compact 9mm caliber personal defense weapon (PDW) developed by SIG. Featuring the shortest 3.5-inch barrel in the MPX series, it is designed for exceptional portability and ease of use.

The operation system is a short-stroke gas piston + rotating bolt, and the operation system is similar to that of an AR rifle, achieving high reliability and ease of use. It also features an ambidextrous selector, magazine release, bolt release, and charging handle, making it suitable for both left-handed and right-handed shooters.

The upper receiver has a monolithic structure and is designed with compactness as a priority. This limits expandability, such as the ability to change the handguard, but it also significantly reduces size and weight.

Models equipped with a stabilizing brace can be folded and extended, making them ideal for use as close-range firearms, such as in a car or bag. Because it uses 9mm bullets, the recoil is relatively light, and although there is a large muzzle flash, it offers excellent handling and control at close range.

This model is the ultimate pursuit of the balance of "more than a handgun, less than a rifle," a characteristic of the MPX series, and is especially popular with users who prioritize close-quarters defense, tactical use, and portability.
