LYNX S

Since its introduction in Japan, HIKMICRO's LYNX series of thermal monoculars has been a favorite of many customers. The entry-level model has been improved, offering higher image quality and greater ease of use. Thermal scopes do not use visible light; they generate images by detecting and processing the heat emitted by objects. Therefore, they are useful for detecting heat sources such as people and animals in any environment, including complete darkness. They are used in many fields such as hunting, wildlife observation, survival games, security, disaster relief, and maritime applications. All models boast a high frame rate of 50Hz, allowing for smooth observation of moving targets.

■High-contrast OLED (Organic EL) display adopted
For the image display, which significantly impacts visibility, OLED (Organic EL) with higher contrast and deeper blacks has been adopted, replacing traditional LCOS (liquid crystal). The image display resolution is now 800×600 pixels, offering high definition. The image display size has also been increased from the conventional 0.2 inches to 0.32 inches, making it easier to view.

■New UI design adopted
The LYNX S series features a new hierarchical UI, improving operability. Frequently used menus such as brightness and contrast can be quickly accessed, allowing you to focus on observation or the game with optimal settings at all times.

■Long hours of use possible
Designed for power efficiency, allowing 8 to 10 hours of use per charge, depending on the model. *Operating time can vary significantly depending on settings and environment. Also, lithium-ion batteries generally have shorter operating times with repeated charging and discharging.

■Auto screen-off function prevents battery drain
The auto screen-off function activates when the device detects it's not in use, based on tilt information and other data. It automatically turns off the OLED display to conserve power.

■Various other functions
Equipped with many functions including still image capture, video recording with audio, saving images to internal storage, Wi-Fi connectivity to mobile devices, picture-in-picture function, and tone change for black and white images (warm black, cool black).
