[What is the Glock G17Gen5 MOS?]
Glock originated in 1963 as a small equipment factory founded by Gaston Glock near Vienna, Austria. Despite having no track record in firearms development, the company participated in the Austrian military's new standard adoption trials in 1980 and was adopted as the "P80." At the time, its innovative use of a polymer frame, simple design, and secure safe action system revolutionized the pistol market. In 1985, the civilian model, the Glock 17, was introduced to the US market, where it recorded explosive sales and is now widely supported by military and police forces around the world.
Since then, the Glock has undergone several model changes, with the fourth generation released in 2009, followed by the fifth generation Glock, which was developed in 2017 as the start of the next generation. In addition to improved shooting accuracy and an evolved surface finish, the fifth generation Glock has seen numerous improvements, including a change in the angle of the front of the slide, the addition of a larger magazine release button and magwell, an ambidextrous slide stop, and the elimination of finger channels to accommodate a variety of hand sizes. The following year, in 2018, the G17 Gen5, a Modular Optic System (MOS) model capable of mounting optical devices, was released, further expanding the Glock family's status as a core model.

The trigger is heavier than other manufacturers' products in order to replicate the trigger pull of a real gun. Because the feel is significantly different from that of a regular airsoft gun, we recommend that you practice thoroughly before using it in airsoft games or shooting competitions.
