Maruzen's Walther series, nicknamed "Japanese Walther" for its highly realistic appearance, has been officially licensed with the German company Walther, and a new model has been added to the series!

This is a gas blowback model PPK by Maruzen, which has been granted the right by Walther to use its trademark (Walther Burner) for all toy guns.

This model is a "classic" variation that reproduces the bakelite grip that was attached to the early PPK model and is equipped with a flat magazine base made with a new mold.

Other than the brown marble grip and magazine base, there are no differences from the standard PPK Black, and the slide engraving is also the same as the standard Black, but it's amazing how these two differences make such a big difference in the appearance. In particular, the change in the color of the grip from the standard PPK, which is all black, gives this gun a classic feel.

The grips are molded from brown resin, and then individually airbrushed by artisans to recreate a Bakelite-style marbled pattern, creating a special edition. The exquisite coloring is reminiscent of early Bakelite models. The magazine features a flat bottom, crafted using a new mold. By attaching a magazine without a finger rest, the PPK's concealed carry capabilities are further enhanced, further highlighting its compact form. Enjoy the classic look of this PPK.

Please note that the new flat base spare magazines will not be released at the same time as the first batch. Standard PPK spare magazines can be used.

2024 started with the PPK Black in January, and the PP was just released in November, but even before the end of the year, it was a surprise development even for those in the shop.

It is very pleasing to see that Maruzen's production pace has increased recently, not only for the Walther series but also for other products.Even considering the recent rise in various manufacturing costs and the not-so-good economic situation, I am impressed by their attitude of working hard to deliver what users want and enjoy, regardless of the adversity.

This gun is not only a joy to shoot, but it will also be a beautiful addition to your collection.
