Product Description

Further improving the Precision Cylinder. "Pulsonite" is the ideal surface treatment that reduces friction with the piston.

[Precision Pulsonite Cylinder]
We have developed a low-friction, highly durable cylinder that is treated with "Palsonite," which boasts the highest precision and corrosion resistance among the nitriding processes used on stainless steel. The low friction that promotes piston speed and the improved hardness that maintains roundness ensure excellent performance for a long period of time.

●Inner diameter φ22mm (original diameter) ●Inner diameter tolerance ±1/100mm ●SUS304 (stainless steel) ●Laser welded ●Parallel pin used This stainless steel cylinder has the same size (inner diameter) as the VSR original cylinder. Instead of using ordinary stainless steel pipe, it is produced using cold forging, which excels in precision finishing, achieving an inner diameter tolerance of ±1/100mm. For bolt action systems, where efficient piston acceleration and air ejection are key, this is the ultimate cylinder series, meticulously refined with a focus on wear resistance.

*Not compatible with genuine pistons, springs, spring guides, and cylinder heads.

<Consideration of the connection point with the boss>
We pay close attention to the connection with the post body, which can be said to be the neck of a custom cylinder. While many cylinders use hollow "cotter pins," we determined that these do not provide the overwhelming durability required, and instead adopted "solid parallel pins." In addition, by welding the connection, we have created a cylinder that is tough enough to withstand repeated cocking over a long period of time.

[Tapered cylinder head]
This part determines how efficiently the air pushed out of the cylinder can be converted into output.
At PDI, we place the same importance on the inner barrel and chamber, and by using SUS303 and tapering the interior at an optimal angle, we have achieved output conversion that is greater than that of a regular shaped head.
Furthermore, the nozzle length has been extended to optimize the BB bullet holding position and produce stable output. The O-ring at the tip of the nozzle is suitable for improving airtightness in the chamber and reducing air loss.
*This product can be attached to the VSR-10 genuine cylinder, but it may not be possible to lock it securely due to the shallowness of the screws on the genuine cylinder.
This is due to the fact that the original cylinder screw part has been changed depending on the lot, so at present we are unable to make any announcements as to which lot will be OK.
Therefore, we do not recommend using it on genuine cylinders.

[HD (Hard) Piston]
The best-selling PDI piston from the APS series is now used in the VSR.
It is divided into four parts, with the head and body made of durable aluminum alloy, the ring made of highly durable POM with excellent sliding properties as it comes into contact with the cylinder, and the rearmost part, which is the part that bears the most load on the sear, made of carbon steel. By using the right materials in the right places, we have created an ideal piston in terms of durability.
In addition, this product is a highly airtight version that does not use a vacuum system, so it is widely used as a piston that produces a higher initial velocity than VC.
*VC can increase the flight distance, but it takes time to start to seal, which results in a difference in initial velocity compared to HD pistons.

*Note: Regarding POM part colors:
Due to a shortage of raw materials (POM), it is becoming difficult to procure materials.
The color of the piston ring (POM) of the product you receive will be either white (POM) or black (POM) depending on the situation.

*The piston design was changed due to a lot change in January 2021.
Changes
- Piston head design change
- Piston body design change
There are no changes to the materials used.
-Although there have been design changes, manufacturer testing has confirmed that the initial velocity and other specifications are the same as before the design change.

[Spring guide]
The spring guide is a part that is susceptible to stress caused by the expansion and contraction of the spring when cocking, so a POM thrust ring is installed at the base to reduce the load directly applied to the guide base.
The entire stainless steel is machined to ensure high dimensional accuracy, and even the shaft is thoroughly polished to ensure smooth pump action.
This product is designed exclusively for HD (hard) pistons, so the shaft is longer than the VC guide.

*Please use end cap bolts that meet the standards sold by our company.
Marui genuine bolts are made to the original standard, so they have a smaller diameter than standard bolts. If you use them with a PDI cylinder, the threads may not fit. The VSR-10 compatible cap bolt standard is M4 x 12mm.

Specifications
■Compatible models:
#Tokyo Marui VSR-10
■Set contents: Precision Pulsonite cylinder, tapered cylinder head, spring guide, HD (hard) piston

*This product cannot be used with the "VSR-10 BORE UP".
*This product is designed with a thick spring.
*The VSR-10 uses a special trigger system, so cocking may be difficult after installation. Please refer to here for more information.
*Cylinders, cylinder heads, etc. are modified and improved every certain period (lot), so it may be difficult to assemble parts from older lots together with the latest lot. This can be resolved by assembling parts from the latest lots together.

※please note※
If you have customized your airsoft gun or replaced parts, be sure to measure the bullet speed using a bullet speed meter to ensure it is within the legal limit (possession of bullets over 0.98 J is prohibited). Also, be careful not to exceed the legal limit during the work.
