The sharp receiver further enhances the unique design of the L96. Not only does it have a beautiful exterior, but by using the included receiver ring, it has achieved greater rigidity than ever before. This reduces the rattle of the outer barrel, helping to center the chamber.

After CNC cutting, the entire receiver is polished and sandblasted to create a uniform surface. The receiver is then treated with a matte black anodized finish, achieving PDI's signature "subdued gloss and a dignified surface finish." This creates a custom receiver with a luxurious appearance.
