This is a limited edition VFC HK VP9 aluminum slide gas gun with realistic engravings based on the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force's new standard 9mm pistol, the "SFP9M"!

In 2020, the H&K SFP9 Maritime was announced as the new official 9mm pistol for the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.

"H&K SFP9" is the name of the European distribution version of "H&K VP9".

Incidentally, the name "VP9," which is well known in Japan, is given to H&K USA products, and since it is the name used in North America, the world's largest market, it is more well-known.

This model is of course called "SFP9" in Germany, where H&K is headquartered, and since it is a handgun delivered directly to the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force by H&K, the model name of the JGSDF is naturally also "SFP9."

While there are various variations of the SFP9, the new model selected by the JGSDF in 2020 is the "SFP9 Maritime." Commonly known as the "SFP9M," this is a variation of the SFP9 that has been given water resistance.

The SFP9M is a high-performance model that emphasizes not only corrosion resistance in seawater, but also the ability to withstand sudden firing immediately after being removed from submersion. This handgun is worthy of the name "Maritime," an adjective meaning "on the sea/maritime."

This limited edition custom is based on VFC's VP9 and features the real SFP9M engraving.

The "VP 9" engraving on the left side of the slide has been re-stamped to "SFP 9M," and the Maritime anchor mark located to the right of it on the actual gun has also been reproduced.

In addition, the engraving on the bottom left side of the frame grip has been changed from "VP" to "SFP".

This custom model took a lot of work, as the parts that were already engraved had to be filled in, re-engraved, and repainted.

Please note that due to the fact that it has been refilled and re-engraved, the expression will be different from the other normal engraved parts.

Also, the color of the repainted parts may be slightly different from the original parts, and may peel off with use. If this occurs, please repair it with black parker paint or similar.

The SFP9M can be completed by assembling aftermarket parts based on the VP9, ​​but considering that the cost of the SFP9M slide and frame parts alone would cost 40,000 to 50,000 yen, this product, which does not require the hassle of disassembly and assembly, is a great deal.

The base VP9 unit is not a parallel import but is designed for the Japanese market, so there are no concerns about its operation.
