"HWS Nagant Revolver"
After a long time since the announcement of its production, the long-awaited release has been decided.
The real Nagant M1895 revolver is a revolver designed and developed by the Belgian Nagant Brothers. It uses the proprietary 7.62 x 38mm Nagant bullet. It holds seven rounds. When fired, the cylinder moves forward, closing the gap between the barrel and the cylinder with a gas seal mechanism, making it an extremely rare revolver that can be fitted with a silencer despite being a revolver. It was officially adopted by the Russian Empire in 1895, and a total of 2 million units were produced.
Hartford released this model as part of its "Vintage Replica Model Gun Series," following the Type 94, Type 26, Liberator, Borchardt, and Mauser HSc.
HWS regards model guns as 1/1 scale precision models, and offers "reasonably priced," "satisfies intellectual curiosity," "safe," and "three-dimensional precision model teaching materials," faithfully recreating the Nagant's unique "gas seal" mechanism just like the real gun.
This product reproduces the unique gas seal mechanism of the Nagant M1895 exactly as it was in the real thing, but due to safety priorities, differences in materials, and the need for proper operation, the cylinder does not close completely, leaving a slight gap, which can cause sparks to leak sideways when firing. Please note that this is a specification.
