WHITNEYVILLE HARTFORD DRAGOON

About the Whitneyville Dragoon...
The actual Colt Whitneyville Dragoon is also known as the “Hartford Dragoon,” “Colt Whitneyville Hartford Dragoon,” or “Transition Walker,” and is a model produced in small numbers (approximately 240 pieces) in the latter half of 1847.

The grips, frame shape, and hammer mechanism were from the Walker, while the cylinder and barrel were from the Dragoon model. Like the rare Walker, the Whitneyville Dragoon is highly prized in the American antique firearms industry due to its very limited production numbers.

HWS has reproduced this model in limited quantities as a variation of the Dragoon.
We hope you will cherish this product, which holds significant importance in the history of Colt firearms, as a part of your collection forever.
