What is the AK12?
The real AK-12, announced in 2011 and officially adopted by the Russian Ministry of Defense in 2018, is a 5th generation AK rifle. It is a cutting-edge Russian-made assault rifle using 5.45x39mm ammunition, developed by the Kalashnikov Concern (formerly Izhmash), known for the AK. While maintaining the high reliability synonymous with the AK, the AK-12 features new designs such as a new muzzle brake, a telescopic/folding stock, and an ambidextrous selector. Picatinny rails have been added to the receiver and handguard, improving expandability. Since 2018, it has been progressively deployed to Russian infantry and special forces units. It has also been confirmed in use not only in Russia but also in neighboring countries and the Middle East.
About the WELL PRO AK-12
This is the first toy gun rendition of the latest AK-12M1 model, showcased by Kalashnikov Concern at the international arms forum "ARMY-2023."
Instead of repurposing conventional AK receivers, it has been entirely newly manufactured, with meticulous attention to detail evident in every part, such as the distinctive receiver, handguard, ambidextrous selector, stock shape, and the addition of a cheek rest.
The receiver and top cover are made of steel press, and key components are metal, ensuring sufficient accuracy and strength.
HOP adjustment can be easily done without disassembling the airsoft gun. Simply insert a 2mm hex wrench into the left and right interlocking dials located on the trunnion block for quick adjustment.
Furthermore, it features a gas flow adjustment function. The gas flow can be finely adjusted by removing the loading nozzle from the bolt and using a 1.5mm hex wrench. After adjustment, secure it with threadlocker.
