Founded in 1943, WINDLAS has a long history as a manufacturer of military swords and replica military equipment.
Windlass, a manufacturer with such a long history, has created an elaborate replica of the Type 89 Multipurpose Bayonet, which is officially adopted by the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, modeled after the real thing.
The bayonet attachment mechanism is also realistically reproduced, so it can be attached to the Tokyo Marui Type 89 rifle (electric or gas), which is also reproduced in great detail.
The blade is made of brass, which does not violate the Sword and Firearms Control Law. Although it has a heavy feel due to being made of metal, it does not have a cutting edge and brass is not very strong. It is a replica for decorative purposes only.
