The Vortex Defender-CCW Red Dot is designed to provide the ultimate in concealment, reliable functionality, and dependable initial response for concealed carry.

The large aspherical lens provides a clear, distortion-free view, and the sturdy 7075 aluminum body with a shock-absorbing polymer insert on top makes it durable enough to withstand the rigors of everyday use.

The distinctive texture on the front of the sight, called the Fast-Rack texture, allows the slide to be racked (pulled back to release and load the first bullet) on any surface.

The Shake Awake feature detects motion and turns the light on, allowing you to save battery power while still activating the device when you need it (motion detection is only available in auto shut-off mode).

The auto shut-off mode automatically turns the light off after 14 hours of use, and manual mode can be switched on with a button lock function to prevent accidental operation. Users can set the light to suit their needs, ensuring they don't miss a beat in an emergency.

The red dot has eight brightness levels for daytime use and two for night vision. The battery compartment is located at the top of the housing, so there is no need to remove the gun when changing it, and the zero will not be disturbed.

Battery life is up to 9,500 hours.

The footprint is Shield RMS/SMS standard and can be replaced with various compatible mounts. Six types of mounting screws are included for various handguns, including the Glock MOS, HK VP9 Tactical, and SIG P320.

It comes with a 1-degree shim plate to correct misalignment of the mount or handgun itself, and a 20mm low mount (Picatinny mount).

The lenses feature multiple anti-reflective coatings for high light transmission, impact resistance to withstand live ammunition, and an ultra-hard scratch-resistant coating to protect the outer lens from scratches, oil, and dirt.
