The SIG MPX Copperhead (3.5 inch) is an ultra-compact 9mm personal defense weapon (PDW) developed by SIG. Featuring the shortest 3.5-inch barrel in the MPX series, it is designed as a model that prioritizes extremely high portability and operability.

It operates using a short-stroke gas piston and a rotating bolt, and its AR-style controls ensure high reliability and ease of use. Equipped with an ambidextrous selector, magazine release, bolt release, and charging handle, it is also designed to be easily used by both left and right-handed shooters.

The upper receiver features a monolithic structure, prioritizing compactness. While this design limits expandability such as handguard replacement, it significantly reduces size and weight.

Models equipped with a stabilizing brace are foldable and extendable, making them highly suitable for close-quarters applications such as vehicle transport or carrying in a bag. Since it uses 9mm ammunition, recoil is relatively light, and although muzzle flash is significant, it offers excellent handling and control at close range.

This model represents the most extreme pursuit of the MPX series' "more than a handgun, less than a rifle" balance, and is particularly popular among users who prioritize close-quarters defense, tactical applications, and portability.
