The SVIIISS 5-40x56 ED Zero Stop FFP Scope features ED glass, a new internal zero stop mechanism, and an illuminated FFP MH-6 reticle.

Designed for long-range target shooting and hunting, this scope offers 20 MIL of windage and 40 MIL of elevation adjustment with 0.1 MIL tactical knobs. The windage and elevation knobs are 10 MIL per revolution.

The new 40mm body tube is waterproof, shockproof and nitrogen filled. Minimum focus is 10 meters.

The SVIII features ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) glass, providing long-range shooters with the brightness and clarity they need for accurate target acquisition. The oversized tactical knob is finished in black matte with high-visibility markings for quick identification of the scope's settings. The windage knob is marked left and right, so there's no guessing when making adjustments.

A new internal zero-stop mechanism provides a tactile and audible positive stop for perfect zeroing.

For superior performance, Sightron created the new MC-777 multi-coat lens coating for increased light transmission and improved clarity. Sightron's patented ExacTrack windage and elevation system comes standard on all models.

All reticles in this series are illuminated by a side-mounted, 11-position off/on rotary-type dial that uses a CR2032 battery. The side-mounted focus system has been redesigned to improve minimum focus performance.

FFP allows the reticle size to change with the magnification setting. The reticle value remains constant relative to the target.

The reticle is etched glass for excellent visibility.

Its one-piece construction is machined from a single piece of lightweight industrial-grade aluminum and is built to withstand large caliber recoil and accidental impacts.

It is rated to the IPX7 waterproof standard and is highly fog-resistant thanks to its nitrogen gas filling.
