This model is based on a civilian AR custom build, combining Brownells' "BRN-180" upper receiver with Aero Precision's "M4E1" lower receiver.

The BRN-180 is Brownells' modern reinterpretation of the classic ArmaLite AR-18/AR-180 design. Its most distinctive features are the short-stroke gas piston system, which differs from the direct impingement system of standard AR-15s, and the recoil spring housed within the upper receiver. While incorporating modern aluminum receivers and M-LOK handguards, it retains the AR-180's mechanism and distinctive silhouette. Furthermore, the BRN-180 upper is designed for compatibility with Mil-Spec AR-15 lower receivers, allowing for custom builds with various lowers.

On the other hand, Aero Precision's M4E1 is a receiver series that incorporates their unique modern design based on the AR-15. The M4E1 lower features a three-dimensional and powerful form reminiscent of a billet receiver, with an integrated trigger guard and flared magwell, setting it apart from standard AR-15s in appearance.

This model focuses on the combination of the BRN-180 Upper and M4E1 Lower, which is a valid configuration for a real firearm. The concept is not a reproduction of a model released as a complete firearm by a specific manufacturer, but rather a "Civilian AR Custom Build" that leverages the high expandability inherent in the AR platform.

This modern custom AR style merges the distinct personality of the BRN-180 upper, reminiscent of the AR-180 lineage, with the sharp, modern M4E1 lower.
