Raizen barrels are made from the ultra-precision material "SUS304," which is manufactured using Japan's proud semi-conductor manufacturing technology.
Our unique surface roughness setting with a tolerance of ±0.005mm was achieved through collaboration with a company headquartered in Tokyo.
For machining, we use Star Micronics multi-tasking machines - 8 axes (X, Y, Z1, A, B, C, E, Z2) - and use the optimal tools to cut and reproduce the drawings down to the smallest detail. For the finishing polishing, we use machines and craftsmen in a system that does not allow for any compromise, resulting in a quality that cannot be imitated by other companies.

Ultra-tight setting "6.01mm" for excellent initial velocity
The basic concept is that the smaller the clearance between the inner diameter and the bullet, the greater the pressure from the rear, and the higher the muzzle velocity (the faster the bullet flies).
The 6.01mm inner diameter is calculated to maximize the clearance for 6mm BB bullets, allowing for maximum pressure. However, due to the ultra-tight setting, it is designed for precision bullets. There is a possibility of jamming with inferior bullets.

The muzzle has been tapered, just like the Guren 2. The tapered design allows air to be efficiently expelled, converting it into energy that pushes the bullet forward, while creating a straightened airflow and improving accuracy.

A stopper has been added to accommodate not only electric gun chambers but also M14 chambers.
The hop window is 6mm long and is designed to be larger than the original barrel.
Furthermore, the hop packing coming down from above is designed with a 45-degree chamfer to prevent damage to the packing.

We believe that gaskets from other manufacturers are generally molded products.
Unlike cutting, the precision of rubber molding is often on the order of 0.1 mm, so it is difficult to get a right angle at the inner end face of the rubber, and there is a possibility that there will be some R. Even in such cases, the chamfer on the outer diameter of the barrel is made a little larger so that the barrel can be pushed all the way in.

If the diameter is too thick, it will adhere better to the chamber packing, but it will have the disadvantage of being difficult to insert into the chamber or not going in straight. By making the outer diameter 8.55mm, we have created a barrel that is easy to set up.

*Due to the specified tolerance, there may be cases where the diameter exceeds 8.55mm, but this does not mean that the part will not fit into the chamber.

At Raizen, we have established an internal diameter inspection point "after polishing" as an inspection standard .
In particular, we physically check to see if any burrs generated during processing have affected the inner diameter.
The polishing is then checked again by the "human eye" of a select few craftsmen in charge of polishing.
Up to this point, the items are the same as those for Guren, but the surface roughness pass criteria are one level stricter, and roughness that occurs in the material is strictly selected.
The reason why Raizen is a high-end barrel is not only the cost of the materials, but also the time it takes to select them and the amount of rejected material.
Therefore, the bottle you receive will be a carefully selected item.
