■Orthodox AR15 design

The Explorer series boasts an orthodox AR15 style that is easy for owners to customize. The pattern is based on the angle of the standard grip.

Its plain design, without strong claims, can perfectly enhance exterior customizations by the owner.

■Stock system adaptable to any environment

Traditional ARs, modeled after real firearms, had limitations in stock design due to the operating mechanism and recoil control of the real firearm.

However, C.A.T. prioritizes convenience and enjoyment in airsoft use, so we designed it without being constrained by real firearm limitations.

The stock base can be adjusted to three heights with a Picatinny rail, and the modular MPS stock allows for style changes according to purpose and objective.

The stock base is foldable, dramatically improving portability when traveling on public transportation or storability when storing, outside of survival games and shooting ranges.

■Split gearbox & realistic takedown mechanism

In conventional AR15-type electric airsoft guns, the rear end of the gearbox is hidden within the lower receiver.

Therefore, when incorporating a takedown mechanism, the rear end would get caught, necessitating a deformed receiver shape or the implementation of a unique mechanism.

C.A.T. has shortened the piston stroke and the rear end of the upper gearbox to reproduce a realistic takedown mechanism with the dimensions of a standard electric AR15 receiver.

This allows for realistic takedown without compromising the exterior.

The Appeal of C.A.T.

• World's First Mechanical "Variable" Pre-cocking Mechanism
  Equipped with a pre-cocking function that holds the piston in the retracted position without an electronic board.
  This enables extremely high semi-automatic performance.

  Traditionally, pre-cocking was controlled by electronic means, but C.A.T. has reproduced this with a completely mechanical system that does not rely on electronic components.
  When performing pre-cocking mechanically, there was a challenge where the piston retraction amount would vary significantly depending on internal settings and the battery.
  
  To address this challenge, we developed the MAP sector gear.
  
  By allowing fine adjustment of the cut-off cam angle, it became possible to flexibly respond to performance changes due to internal settings, battery, and so on.

• Split Gearbox & Realistic Takedown Mechanism
  Adopting a completely new gearbox and receiver structure. Equipped with a realistic takedown function to accommodate the adjustment of the mechanical variable pre-cocking.
  Designed to be able to use existing standard parts as much as possible, making it suitable as a base for internal customization.
  *Due to the short piston stroke, the sector gear is cut by 2 teeth.

• Performance Comparable to Custom Guns
  The motor, which can be called the heart of an electric airsoft gun, uses SPARK's original INAZUMA motor. (This is a high-performance Japanese-made motor highly regarded for custom use.) Equipped with a hard pinion gear excellent in quietness.
  
  The accuracy is such that at least 7 out of 10 people can achieve headshots on a human-sized target at 30m, possessing performance that can be used at the forefront even without customization.

• Sensory Trigger Feel
  The synergistic effect of the mechanical variable pre-cocking and microswitch creates a crisp, click-like trigger pull, similar to real firearms or gas guns.
  
  Furthermore, the IWS trigger for micro V2, developed specifically for microswitches, features a multi-faceted design that accommodates various shooting stances.

  The handguard is manufactured by a real firearm handguard manufacturer that primarily sells in the US market.
  It possesses robustness comparable to that of real firearms.

• Foldable Stock Base for Backpack Transport
  The buffer tube base is equipped with a Picatinny rail. The height can also be adjusted up and down, allowing it to be used like an offset stock.
