VORTEX's real red dot sight "Viper Red Dot"
The mount height is designed to be extremely low, allowing the red dot to be used in conjunction with a pistol's iron sights.
The Vortex Viper Red Dot is the perfect red dot for handguns with slides cut out for microsights.
Its height allows it to be used in conjunction with high-type iron sights for suppressors, making it suitable for emergencies when the dot is not lit. Its compact yet thin frame ensures a wide field of view and allows for intuitive and quick target acquisition.
Of course, it can be used not only with pistols but also with shotguns and rifles, taking advantage of its small size and light weight to use it with an offset mount as a backup to your main optic, or it can be optimized for AR-15s with an optional riser mount.
The 6MOA reticle boasts excellent visibility even in extremely bright environments, and its wide brightness adjustment range makes it suitable for a variety of situations. The dot power on/off and brightness adjustment buttons are located on the left side of the housing, eliminating the need to remember which side is which, even in stressful emergency situations.
The battery life is up to 30,000 hours, and it can be used for 150 hours at the highest brightness setting.
It comes with a 20mm low mount (Weaver/Picatinny mount), so it can be used immediately with revolvers that have top rails. The footprint is Docter/Noblex standard, so it can be replaced with various compatible mounts.
The lenses feature multiple anti-reflective coatings for high light transmission, impact resistance to withstand live ammunition, and an ultra-hard scratch-resistant coating to protect the outer lens from scratches, oil, and dirt.
