SIG P228 Two-Tone Frame Heavy Weight Evolution2 Model Gun
The P228 is highly regarded by the U.S. military and law enforcement. This two-tone model features a silver slide. This model gained instant fame when it was used as the main weapon by the protagonist of the popular TV drama "24" in the first and second seasons, which was recently remade in Japan.
This model is inspired by this popular model and is based on the P228 firing blowback model gun. The frame and grip are made of heavy HW resin. The slide and barrel, which are subject to the greatest impacts, are made of special ABS for improved durability. The distinctive silver slide is painted with Cerakote, a well-known gun coating. By using a subdued silver with a subdued brightness, we paid particular attention to the color balance with the black frame.
In addition, parts such as the decocking lever, slide catch lever, and hammer are silver-plated to recreate the look of a real gun. Even the grip screws have been replaced with stainless steel ones, a small detail.
This model is based on the P228 Evolution 2 model, so it has high firing performance and is also durable to match. The recoil guide incorporates a buffer system to absorb the impact of the falling hammer, and the frame side is designed with an elastomer hammer stop.
By using the separately sold threaded barrel, you can recreate the suppressor version seen in the movie. (Suppressor sold separately). Limited production.
