　Smith & Wesson社のカスタム部門「Performance Center」は、1990年に2名の熟練した社内ガンスミスの手により発足しました。 当初は、自社製銃をベースに競技用に特化したモデルの製造を目的としていましたが、専用のCNCマシンを導入したことで、ゼロから新たなモデルを企画・製造し、試作品をディストリビューターに独占販売するというスタイルへと進化していきました。現在では、S&W社の通常ラインナップにおけるプレミアムモデルの生産をはじめ、限定生産品やユニークなデザインのモデル、特別な機能を備えた製品、さらには標準ラインの銃器の修理まで、多岐にわたる業務を担っています。ただし、製造を手がけるのはいずれもハンドガンシューティングの経験を持つスペシャリストたちであり、その高い技術力は今も変わりません。 　その「Performance Centerシリーズ」を再現したペガサス式バージョン3ガスガンにヘビーウエイト仕様のバリエーションが登場します。 実射性能を向上させ、本来のペガサスシステムのポテンシャルを最大限に引き出すことで、気温に左右されにくく、よりパワフルな弾道を実現しています。反動を抑えるため、細くくびれた特徴的なバレルで銃口にはコンペンセイターを採用した「コンプハンター」仕様です。Performance Centerのトレードマークとリアルな刻印が施されたフレーム、ラウンドタイプのリアサイト、ストッパー付きセミワイドトリガーを標準装備としています。また、ウエイト入りのホーグタイプ・フィンガーチャンネル付きラバーグリップと、本体のヘビーウエイト樹脂化により、剛性と重量感が大幅に向上しています。 【仕様】 全長 ： 330 mm  重量 ： 1,060 g 装弾数 ： 13発 備考 ： 主要材質 HW樹脂+亜鉛ダイカスト 仕様 ペガサス式ガスガン フレームタイプ Nフレーム・スクエアバット 発売日 2025年10月中旬発売予定...

　2000年代、S&W社は.44マグナム弾に続く「世界最強の拳銃弾」を使用する新型リボルバーの開発に着手しました。発表当時、「世界最強」と言われていた.44マグナム弾と、それを使用するM29のセットは、すでに.454カスール弾や新興の海外メーカーによってその地位を奪われていました。 また、S&W社自体も海外資本に転売が繰り返され、ヒット商品もなく低迷していました。その後、アメリカ資本に戻り、ブランド力の回復を目指して製作されたのが「M500」です。この銃のために専用弾である「.500S&Wマグナム弾」が開発されました。これは50口径のマグナム弾で、前述の.44マグナム弾の約3倍の威力を持つと言われています。そのため、フレームには同社のリボルバー・フレーム規格の中でもエクストラ・ラージサイズにあたるX-フレームが採用されました。「USA No.1」の思想を体現するこの銃は、市販品として最大口径のマグナム弾を使用していたため実用性には乏しかったものの、大ヒットを記録し、S&W社は再びアメリカ有数の銃器メーカーとして復活を遂げました。 　ガス効率の見直しと、実銃どおりの刻印に変更されたVer.2となったペガサス式M500シリーズガスガンに今回、ブラックヘビーウエイトモデルが加わります。実射性能はそのままにヘビーウエイト化されたフレームとバレルの重量は圧巻です。 【仕様】 全長 ： 363 mm  重量 ： 1,300 g 装弾数 ： 11発 備考 ： 主要材質 HW樹脂+亜鉛ダイカスト 仕様 ペガサス式ガスガン フレームタイプ Xフレーム・ラウンドバット 発売日 2025年10月中旬発売予定
