Marui's new product has arrived! It's a white version of the already released "AK Storm," an original custom next-generation AK.
This work has also attracted attention due to its use in the currently airing "Kamen Rider Revise."
It's refreshing to see a model with a white base and innovative color scheme. Thinking back, white guns were around for a while, not too long ago. I remember there were models with unusual colors, like the M4 from an overseas manufacturer called SRC, that were quite popular. There were even models in Gundam colors at the time.
Marui's new White Storm isn't just pure white, but as you can see from the photo, it has a nice blend of black and white parts. If you just stare at it, you might not notice anything, but the more you look, the more you'll see that it's a "good balance" of color scheme, with the scattered black parts acting as design accents. It's thanks to this color scheme that it gives off a tight impression despite being based on white, which is supposed to be a bold color. Personally, I think the black on the magwell and stock lever is cool.
The base model, the AK Storm, is Marui's original tactical custom, a cutting-edge next-generation AK equipped with an M-LOK handguard and telescoping stock. It also comes with an M-LOK rail and hand stop, allowing you to customize your setup. Of course, these parts are also available in white. Since the next-generation electric gun is Marui's flagship series, the White Storm is no mere gimmick; it exudes a sense of luxury.
As a sign of the manufacturer's commitment, the included magazine, which is partially painted white, will also be sold separately. You might wonder if it has any other uses besides this model, but Marui doesn't seem to mind. The color scheme must have been carefully decided upon, so it's likely they're keen to offer spare magazines in the same color to those who are captivated by this special color and purchase this product. Even with special edition products, many products have a stance that requires you to use a generic spare, so this is where you can really see the manufacturer's sophistication.
The color is quite eye-catching and may not match well with military uniforms, but carrying this gun with PMC equipment will give you a stylish look. This is the perfect model for those who want to stand out from the crowd.
Please note that this model is apparently produced in limited quantities, so once it sells out, you may not be able to get it for a while.
