As the name suggests, the P16 Minimalist is a plate carrier system with a minimalist design.
The 115's main plate carrier, the P15, has become more advanced, complex, and costly despite its high functionality, but we aimed to make it easier, simpler, and more cost-effective.

115 is known for crafting intricate items that incorporate high-level skill, but with this item they have eliminated excessive details and gimmicks and instead rationalized the cutting and sewing processes, allowing them to sell this set of plate carriers at an unbelievably low price for a Japanese-made item.
Although it is simple, it is a sophisticated piece that is not just a cheap version.

The concept is a space-saving plate carrier that can be worn alone for minimal combat.
It can be stored compactly in a backpack or the trunk of a vehicle, and all connecting parts are buckled for quick attachment and detachment.
The buckle at this connection is an ITW 1-inch buckle, which is common in the military field.
There are many new connection methods available, such as cobra buckles, G-hooks, and magnetic types, so they may seem less innovative.
However, we have chosen to use the (standard) ITW 1 inch, taking into consideration the ease of replacement in the event of damage, the possibility of customization, and the cost at the time of sale.

In addition, the design is simple yet incorporates advanced unitization, and the P16's expandability is also a feature that makes use of this.
The included side bands can all be removed along with the buckle base, so they can be combined with most commercially available Velcro-type cummerbunds.
In addition, a connectable front panel can be attached using the chest buckle, so depending on the combination, it can be made into a sturdy plate carrier that can withstand full-scale use.
