[RGW] Dead Air "Sandman-L" Type BK Real Dummy Silencer & Hider Set

The popular "Sandman" silencer series by American firearms accessory manufacturer "Dead Air Silencers" has been a hot topic in Japan after being confirmed to be in use by the US Navy SEALs, DEVGRU. Now, Hong Kong-based high-quality toy gun parts manufacturer "RGW" has produced a realistic replica.

This product, the "Sandman-L," is the longest model in the series and is well suited to bolt-action rifles.

Not only does it realistically reproduce the exterior with the same engraving and Cerakote as the real thing, it also reproduces the characteristic QD system of the Sandman series.

Sandman's quick detachable mechanism allows you to easily attach a silencer with one hand while keeping the flash hider attached. First, align the vertical groove of the hider with the protrusion on the rear cap (base) of the silencer and fit it in. Then, by turning the main part of the silencer clockwise, the mount inside the silencer engages with the horizontal groove of the hider, completely fixing it in place.

It's a bit complicated to explain in words, but the gist is that it's a system that allows you to securely lock and unlock the device by simply inserting and turning it with one hand.

This product faithfully reproduces this mechanism, allowing you to enjoy the same realistic attachment and detachment operations as the real thing, and the clicking sound when turning the silencer is also the same as the real thing, giving you a realistic feel.

Since this is a dummy silencer, it does not contain any sound-absorbing material, but the front cap can be removed just like the real thing. The inside is hollow with an inner diameter of 32mm, so please prepare a sponge or something similar and install it if necessary.

The included 14mm reverse-threaded flash hider is made of stainless steel, offering a high-quality feel and outstanding strength. It is also an accurate reproduction of the Dead Air flash hider.

The silencer comes with a set screw for attaching it to the barrel, just like those for regular toy guns. However, because of the QD mechanism, just like the real thing, the force applied to the silencer when attaching or removing the silencer is strong, so if the silencer is attached with a set screw, it may come loose and damage the barrel threads.

This product comes with a screw locking agent for fixing the hider, so please use it when installing.

*To remove it, heat the screw locking agent with a hair dryer or similar.
