The base model is the latest batch of BATON SAND VIPER BK, released in May 2026.

I can already hear people asking, "What? A Pit Viper marking on a Sand Viper? Why?!" So, let me first explain the concept behind this.

Actually, there is no black color for the real SAND VIPER.

That's why BATON's CO2GBB initially offered two models: the real PIT VIPER (black) and SAND VIPER (coyote). However, the major difference between these two models was not only the color and markings, but also the functional difference of whether they had an "optic slide" or not. In other words, only the SAND VIPER could mount a dot sight on its slide, which was a significant feature that the PIT VIPER lacked.

However, while the coyote color is perfect for those who like it, it is also true that, overall, a much larger number of people prefer black guns.

We even received serious requests from customers who purchased our real-marking models, saying, "I want to somehow mount a dot sight on a black PIT VIPER with real markings! So I thought, could you paint a SAND VIPER black and then engrave it with PIT VIPER markings? (Note: This is not possible)"

Then came the third model in BATON's VIPER series, the SAND VIPER BK. Since the SAND and PIT are basically almost identical in shape, we thought that by adding PIT VIPER markings to this, we could fulfill the need for an "optic slide PIT VIPER."

Also, while we were considering this, TTI recently released an SRO-compatible PIT VIPER model. The markings on that model were deep-engraved instead of the traditional white engraving, but some markings like the magwell were missing, making it feel somewhat incomplete. Therefore, for this custom, we set it to white engraving. Of course, we will also offer deep engraving, which is closest to the real firearm model, so please choose according to your preference.

Please note that since this unit is based on the SAND VIPER, the colors of the barrel, hammer, and trigger, which are characteristic of the PIT VIPER, are not reproduced and all remain black. Also, the position and shape of the iron sights differ from the real PIT VIPER.

BATON's SAND VIPER gas gun, while originally very well-reproduced in terms of shape, unfortunately lacked any markings due to licensing issues. We have now added complete, limited-quantity real markings to it.

Using a combination of laser white engraving and deep engraving, we have perfectly traced the appearance of the real thing.

There are 10 engraved locations, including both sides and the top of the slide, the rear sight, the chamber, various parts of the frame, the magazine catch, and even the magazine bumper, all fully engraved.

The engravings accepted will be exactly the same specifications as shown in the photos on this page, so all the engravings in the photos will be included.
