Action Army AAP01 Assassin Gas Blowback PCC Receiver Cover Kit.
This is a conversion kit that transforms the AAP01 handgun into a pistol carbine.
This kit is not a product created out of curiosity or humor, but a genuine model inspired by a carbine custom version of the real Ruger MkIV pistol, and the kit is even engraved with "RUGER PCC."
The Ruger MkIV is a rimfire pistol that uses .22LR bullets and is used for competitive shooting and small game hunting, and is a highly acclaimed model.
There is a product called the "Mk4 Carbine" that transforms this pistol into a lightweight, high-performance carbine by adding a receiver with a Picatinny rail, a buffer tube compatible with AR15 stocks, and a long barrel to fully utilize the performance of .22LR bullets.
This kit follows the above characteristics while being designed to be easily installed on the AAP01, allowing you to easily transform it into a cool custom carbine.
To install it into the AAP01, all you need to do is take down the upper and lower sections of the main body and remove the bolt and front and rear sights. After that, all you need to do is screw each part of the kit together, and no special knowledge or skills are required. Even those who are not good at porting engine parts can easily do the job.
The kit is made of CNC aluminum and steel for excellent rigidity. The silencer is a dummy so it does not have any sound-dampening function, but you can enjoy the impressive appearance.
In addition, there are screw holes for rail attachment on the bottom and both sides of the handguard, so the undermount rail of the Action Army genuine rail set can be attached, making it expandable.
This time, there are two models with different stocks: an AR15 buffer tube type and a wire stock type. Both have three-stage telescoping stocks, allowing you to set them to your liking.

Below is the basic installation method using an unmodified (out of the box) AAP01 Assassin.
Assassin's side preparations Disassemble the upper and lower parts.
Remove the front and rear sights from the upper receiver.
Remove the muzzle cap.
A left/right selectable charging lever is attached to the bolt part.
At this stage, remove the bolt.
①Remove the receiver cover mounting base (3 screws).
② Remove the screws that are visible after removing the mount base (2 screws).
③ Remove the receiver cover front handguard fixing screws (2 pieces)
④ Remove the receiver cover rear stock along with the base (4 screws).
⑤ Place the Assassin upper receiver (including the outer barrel) over the bottom of the receiver cover.
⑥ Secure with screws ② into the upper holes of the Assassin upper receiver (2 screws/be careful not to damage the threads).
⑦Insert the bolt from the rear of the receiver cover.
⑧ Attach the handguard (2 screws).
⑨Install the front and rear sights.
10. Secure the upper receiver with the left and right screws on the receiver cover (4 screws/be careful not to overtighten).
⑪Install the silencer.
⑫Attach the stock.
⑬Attach the mount base.
⑭ Install the lower using the same procedure as for the original.
*The recoil spring included has a different rate than the original.
