This is an iGUN conversion kit for Action Army's AAP-01 Assassin.
When assembled, it transforms into a blaster pistol, similar to those carried by Stormtroopers in a certain sci-fi movie.
The aesthetic completion is high, not only with intricate details but also with a collapsible foregrip and adjustable cheek pad, allowing it to be enjoyed as a replica model with movable parts.
While the AAP-01, once assembled, becomes an airsoft gun capable of firing BBs, due to its design prioritizing appearance, it is not suitable for aiming at targets or use in games in its current state.
First, with the standard AAP-01 inner barrel, BBs are fired from a position considerably deep within the kit's tip. This can cause BBs to interfere with the kit and prevent normal firing due to hop-up settings, gas pressure changes from temperature, or individual differences. Please understand that this is a specification. This issue can be largely resolved by replacing it with the optional Action Army genuine 200mm long inner barrel.
Also, because it is faithfully made to the shape in the film, the height of the kit's standard iron sights is too low to aim naturally. Since there is a 20mm rail on the top, please attach your preferred optical device.
Of course, if you're someone who just wants a blaster that can pull the trigger and operate, and doesn't care if it shoots, then there's absolutely no problem with it as is! Please use it for cosplay or display.
This product comes packaged with various parts assembled as a kit, but when integrating the AAP-01, you first need to almost completely disassemble the kit. This might take time for those who are not adept, but rest assured, there's an assembly video provided by the manufacturer.
Most of it can be done with tools you typically have at home. However, only when removing the stock, you will need a 2.5mm hex long screwdriver to remove a screw, which you probably don't have at home, so please prepare one. A T-handle driver with a shaft length of 150mm is recommended. Please note that you cannot assemble the AAP without removing the stock.
