[Maruzen] Walther PP Gas Blowback Pistol, Black (3rd batch / Released December 24, 2025)

The Walther PP, the origin of the iconic PP series, is now available in gas blowback! It's back in stock after 13 months!

This is the latest model in Maruzen's Walther series, nicknamed the "Japanese Walther" for its highly realistic appearance, thanks to an official licensing agreement with the German company Walther.

The Walther PP was developed in 1929 as a police pistol, the "Polizei Pistole." With a smart design that prioritized portability, it was equipped with a double-action trigger and hammer decocking function, making it a masterpiece of a compact auto that combined rapid-fire capability with safety.

This is the original model that later gave rise to the famous derivative models PPK and PPK/S, and the fact that it is still being manufactured today, nearly 100 years after its introduction, is proof of the high level of perfection of this model.

This model reproduces the 9mm Kurz spec, which was produced in Germany in the 1980s and 1990s. Maruzen finally completes the three main GBB models: the PPK/S, PPK, and PP. Of the three, the PP has the longest slide and the most beautiful proportions, making it a must-have GBB addition to any collection.

By the way, the frame of the real PP gun is the same size as the PPK/S, and this is also the case with the Maruzen GBB, so the magazine is common to both the PP and PPK/S. However, the PPK frame is shorter, so it uses a magazine specifically for the PPK.

The previously released PPK/S and PPK shared the same mechanism, so it was possible to swap out the slides. It's highly likely that this is also the case with the PP, and it seems likely that it will be possible to combine the shortest PPK frame with the longest PP slide, which is quite a unique experience.
