The genuine barrel base is narrower inside, so it is not possible to extend the inner barrel as is.
This product is designed for use with a long barrel, with an inner diameter of 8.7mm, eliminating any internal "steps." This allows for a "long barrel" that was not possible with the stock model, allowing for fine tuning. The 8.7mm inner diameter also acts as a barrel spacer, improving accuracy.

*Can also be used with Tokyo Marui MP7A1 (gas blowback).
*Please note that the genuine muzzle cannot be installed without modification as the inner barrel does not penetrate through it.
