Tanaka "+Weight" Grip Series Jay Scott Type Laminated Aurora Pearl Grip for J-Frame Square Bats

The S&W M36 Square Butt Nickel Model used in the film "Taxi Driver" (1976) was equipped with white pearlescent grips. These were Jay Scott laminate grips. They had a double structure, with a faux pearlescent resin top and a wooden bottom. Jay Scott was a division of COLT, a manufacturer that primarily produced grips for handguns. They also produced grips for handgun models of COLT's rival companies, such as S&W and Sturm Ruger. They were active from the 1960s to the 1980s, and are now out of business, making these grips difficult to obtain.

We previously reproduced and released this grip, but unlike regular wooden grips, it was extremely time-consuming, requiring careful work such as pressing fake pearls, alternating vertical and horizontal grain cutting and polishing, and even coloring the walnut base.It was a handmade product that went against the times and was very difficult to mass-produce, so we produced it in small quantities for a limited time.

This laminated grip is now available in a new color. The laminate features a unique pattern that blends blue, red, white, and green, and the color changes depending on the angle from which it is viewed. Like polling art (paintings in which liquid poured onto a canvas flows and moves, creating curves and patterns by chance), no two pieces are exactly alike.
Of course, this model also features a weighted grip on the backside to increase the weight. This genuine manufacturer option for toy guns can be installed without any complicated modifications.
