[Tokyo Marui] SG-09 R Resident Evil Limited Edition (New Release April 12, 2023)

Joe Kendo's custom handgun is worthy of the title "SG," which means "the best in the world."

"Resident Evil RE:4" is a remake based on "Resident Evil 4." In this revitalized story, a completely new character appears: "SG-09 R."

The base of the custom gun is the polymer-framed semi-auto "H&K USP," which boasts a conventional design philosophy that ensures durability and accuracy. As you can see from the "kendo" markings on the right side of the slide, this is a custom gun made by gunsmith Joe Kendo.

It features a silver slide and a Picatinny-standard under-rail with a compensator attached. The finger channel on the grip is also eye-catching. However, the true essence of the SG-09 R customization is not in the custom parts attached. Even after normal disassembly, the components appear to be identical to a regular USP. However, everything, including the shape and material of the parts, has been reconsidered and reconstructed with high-precision machining, resulting in a gun that is not simply a custom or remake, but has been reborn as a completely different weapon.

"There isn't a single part that hasn't been touched. It's 'identical yet different.' If you don't survive with this, you just weren't lucky enough." These words from Kendo when he was handed the SG-09 R were something that Leon S. Kennedy, an agent directly under the President, would experience many times. It was not luck that had made the difference between life and death in desperate situations, but that highly precise customization.

• It is equipped with a "compensator" with a front sight and a port for releasing propellant gas upward.

• The silver-finished slide reduces light reflection, and the Kendo logo is printed on the right side of the slide.

• When the control lever is raised, the safety is on and the gun is in the "cocked and locked" position, and when it is lowered while the hammer is cocked, the gun decocks and the hammer goes to half-cock.

• A new "rail-integrated frame" has been created, featuring a 20mm (Picatinny standard) underrail. The grip is an original design that reflects the era in which this model was made (the transitional period when the USP evolved into the P30 and HK45).

• Two magazines are included, so you can immediately use it in shooting games and airsoft games.
