Colt S.A.A. 2nd Gen “R-model” Toughness Cylinder for Model Guns BK/HW

While real firearms are designed with metal components in mind, model guns are required by law to be manufactured using resin materials. As a result, simply converting the material to resin imposes limits on strength and wear resistance. In high-use environments such as fast draw, this can lead to cylinder notch wear, causing skips and the inability to maintain a secure lock. This significantly reduces operational precision and reliability. The "Toughness Cylinder" was developed to resolve these issues.　

The cylinder body undergoes specialized processing and utilizes a screw-in cylinder tip at the notch. By using extra super duralumin for the material, it achieves a high level of wear resistance that cannot be attained with resin alone. Furthermore, the tip features a reversible design, allowing it to be flipped and reused when worn, maintaining stable performance over a long period. Combined with the heavy-weight cylinder, it offers both realistic texture and practical performance, ensuring reliable and stable operation even under harsh usage conditions.
