Colt S.A.A. “R-model” Model Gun Fanning Hammer BK

In the context of the Single Action Army (SAA), "fanning" is a technique where the shooter maintains the trigger in a pulled position and repeatedly fires the gun by operating the hammer with their other hand.

The shooter holds the grip and operates the trigger with their dominant hand, while using the other hand to manipulate the hammer. Because the motion resembles the fanning of a fan, it is called "fanning." By separating the hammer and trigger operations, this shooting method allows for a higher rate of fire. Note that while this is commonly referred to as "two-hand" in Japan, this is a uniquely Japanese expression; in keeping with the terminology used in the United States, this product uses the term "fanning."

This product is a hammer designed for fanning shooting with the SAA R-model model gun. By removing the traditional spur and enlarging the contact surface on the top of the hammer, we have improved finger grip and support for stable cocking, even during rapid, repeated operation.

※The hammer nose, hammer stud, hammer roller, hammer collar, and hand plunger & spring are included, so the product can be used simply by swapping the hand.
