MULE's Real Wood series was suddenly announced last week.
This model is based on Tokyo Marui's Thompson M1A1 electric gun and has been made from real wood with additional engravings.
The project is limited to 98 units, but as of today, the day before the release, more than half of them have already been ordered, so it looks like they will sell out quickly.
To be honest, I have the impression that it is selling at a surprisingly fast pace for an electric Thompson gun, and not only is it incorporating wooden parts that no other company makes, and which are of the same quality as the model guns that were reproduced this year and once again highly sought after, it has been clearly stated that requests for real engraving will not be accepted if the gun itself is brought in.
In other words, you can't get this engraving unless you buy this limited edition model, so it's understandable that you might think, "If that's the case, why not?"
As mentioned at the beginning, MULE seems to be working hard despite being bored, and although the product will be released on December 13th, they will not be shipping all 98 guns at once, but will be shipping them in order as they are completed.
The December 13th shipment is already sold out. The interval between the second and third shipments is not that long, so if you order, it should arrive in just a few days.
I really liked the name "Real Wood Series," and since it's a series, I'm hoping that they'll be releasing other models in the future.
For those of us who are tired of ordinary products, we welcome this kind of attempt. Of course, if it doesn't sell well, there won't be another one, so as a retailer, we want to make sure to convey to our customers the merits of this project.
There are just a little over two weeks left in the year, but let's not let the busyness get us down and keep going!
