Tokyo Marui announces release date for "MP5A5 Next Generation Electric Gun"

Tokyo Marui has announced the release date for the "MP5 A5 Next Generation Electric Gun." The manufacturer's suggested retail price is 59,800 yen (excluding tax). The release date is scheduled for August 18, 2021.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Marui's release of its first electric gun, the FA-MAS 5.56-F1, in 1991. The MP5A5 is the latest next-generation electric gun, featuring a completely new system.

The gun now comes standard with an electronic trigger, a feature so commonplace it's practically indispensable, improving the response time between pulling the trigger and firing the BB. It also features the newly developed "M-SYSTEM," a microcomputer that comprehensively monitors and controls the FET, FC, battery, and motor. It monitors information from seven sensors and various voltages to switch shooting modes and control motor rotation, as well as detecting damage or malfunctions in any part, ensuring safety.

Another notable feature is that this model perfectly reproduces the three-burst firing that was not available in previous standard electric guns.

It can be said that this is a completely new system that has evolved in all aspects, not just in terms of the powerful recoil that is the highlight of the next generation.
