G&G "PCC45 Pistol Caliber Carbine" released today

on October 15, 2021

G&G PCC45

G&G ARMAMENT released the new PCC45 electric gun, a pistol caliber carbine chambered in .45ACP, today, October 15th.

G&G's last new product was the AK-based 9mm carbine called the PRK9.

The PCC45 is an AR15-based .45 carbine, so it seems that G&G has been focusing on pistol calibers recently.

Today, I would like to take a look at the actual product that arrived and give a brief review of some of the things that caught my attention.

G&G PCC45

First of all, the gun measures 740mm in length when the stock is extended, 500mm when the stock is folded, and weighs 2,470g.

The handguard is 8 inches long, with the barrel only protruding 1.5 inches from it.

A nice size that's easy to handle.

G&G PCC45

There is no flash hider on the muzzle, but a 14mm reverse thread cover is attached, which is the same as the previous 9mm carbine PRK9.

Since both are designed to use pistol ammunition, does that mean they don't need a flash hider like a regular rifle?

Well, I think this looks better, and a silencer suits this type of gun well, so even if you have a hider you'll end up taking it off.

However, the ARP9, G&G's first pistol caliber carbine, did come with a hider.

G&G PCC45

The stock is unlocked with a button at the base of the left side of the stock. When folded, the stock catches on the hook of the receiver, and when unlocked, it unfolds with a little upward pressure. In other words, it's the usual thing.

Since neither the base button nor the receiver hook are made of metal, I was a little concerned about their durability after repeated heavy use, but G&G's fiber resin is quite hard, so there doesn't seem to be much to worry about in that regard.

And the controls. The magazine catch, bolt catch, and charging handle are all ambidextrous and can be operated from either side. The included iron sights are both folding.

G&G PCC45

When you pull the charging handle, the bolt cover retracts and locks in the retracted position. It can be left open when you want to adjust the hop-up, making it very convenient. When you want to close the cover, release the bolt stop by operating the ambi bolt catch.

G&G PCC45

And there's a sling ring attached to the rear of the receiver. There's also a hole in the same position on the other side, so it's probably possible to swap it between left and right. It looks like that's the case. I'm sure it's possible. However, I haven't tried it, so I can't be sure.

G&G PCC45

There is a lever under the handguard, and when you pull this lever down, the lock is released and the handguard can be removed.

There is a space for storing the battery there, and the manufacturer recommends using a stick type for the stock tube or a thin 2-piece LiPo battery.

In addition to the above, it seems to have all the convenient features, such as a mechanism that allows quick access to the spring from the rear end of the receiver, MOSFET & ETU installed, and a straight trigger with anti-slip serrations, although I forgot to take a photo of it.

The combination of a resin receiver and aluminum handguard makes it lightweight, while the functionality is packed with G&G's specialties and the model has the look of a modern pistol caliber carbine.

Well, the most important thing is the appearance. This is the most important thing. The other thing is the perfect size and weight. It's a model that you can hang and ride at full speed. I think it's the kind of product that you can really appreciate when you see and hold it.

So, from here on, I'll mention two points that caught my attention.

First here

G&G PCC45

The .45ACP inside is nicely crafted in three dimensions. Very cool! (^o^)

And then!

Cart's butt

It was printed (a sticker?)

Pa―――。゚+.ヽ(´∀`*)ノ ゚+.゚――――ィ☆

G&G PCC45

If you look closely at the follower spring, you'll see a seal.

Well, normally I don't care about that sort of thing, so it's not a problem at all.

And the next point is the most exciting one.

G&G PCC45

This prominent recess in front of the trigger guard

G&G PCC45

Just looking at this dent makes me itch.

G&G PCC45

Anyway, this depression.

I mean, isn't it amazing that only this part has a matte finish?

I think it would be fine to leave it smooth, but there are some mysterious details.

Of course, you'll want to use one of the convergent lines.

The moment I saw it, I instinctively and unconsciously did this before I even aimed my gun.

G&G PCC45

Like this

If I have it, I'll definitely do it right away

This is true

Even if you think you might be fooled, please try it out.

This indentation fits your finger perfectly and feels great.

If there's a hole there, it's a man's nature to want to fill it with something.

By the way, this recess is also ambidextrous, so you can use it on either the left or right side of the handle.

What a wonderful time we live in. The fact that we can enjoy the comfortable fit of these indentations with both hands is thanks to the development of the idea of ambidextrous.

Anyway, you'll want to keep your finger in this indentation for no reason, so you'll probably appear to those around you in the field as someone who is very trigger-conscious.

It's good to look professional.

So that's all from me.
