This is the first user-participation project we are trying out, and we are finally holding a photo contest featuring Marushin toy guns!
The application period is two weeks from December 27, 2022 to January 10, 2023.

The Colt SAA .45 with a 24-karat gold-plated finish, which was previously only available as a model gun, is now available as a gas revolver!
Walther PPK/S model gun that uses Wolfram HW made of ultra-high density tungsten polymer!
I want to see and touch both of them ๐
Please come and join us!!
The image above is the flyer data for the contest, and the application requirements are very simple, and the only way to apply is to post a photo on Twitter.
If you have any Marushin products, you can easily participate.
It has been announced that "the first event will be an open weight class for all Marushin toy guns," so it seems likely that subsequent events will narrow down the models to a certain extent.
The application requirements are minimal and do not state any selection criteria, so it would be good to take cool close-up photos of your customized product, as well as capture a scene that makes the most of the product!
During this year-end and New Year holiday period, have fun taking some amazing photos and maybe even win some great prizes!
Yes, that's it!
We've kept you waiting for a very, very, very long time for Marushin's "Kimber GOLD MATCH TEN II" and "44 Auto Mag 6mm."
At the time of the initial announcement, the Gold Match was scheduled for release in October 2020, and the Automag was scheduled for release in April 2021.
It is almost common knowledge in the industry that pre-ordered items from Marushin are delayed by several months from the scheduled release date without any prior notice.
However, in a highly unusual move for the two models mentioned above, the manufacturer issued an official apology towards the end of last year, and the release dates were rescheduled to July and August 2022, respectively.
This doesn't usually happen, so this re-announcement gave us the sense that the manufacturer had a strong determination to "make sure it goes through."
I was impressed and thought, "Marushin, this is serious stuff," and I assumed that proper arrangements had already been made for it.
Marushin's products are usually shipped at the end of the month, and there is almost no advance information about the products being shipped.
So, from around July and August this year, I was thinking, "I wonder if the Automag and Ten-Two will be coming out soon," and I was getting ready by the end of each month, but what on earth was the point of that re-announcement that made me feel Marushin's strong will? Before I knew it, December had come around again and they still hadn't been released.
Furthermore, Marushin's shipments for December will be Colt SAA gas guns, so it's confirmed that neither the Gold Match nor the Auto Mag will be available this year. What will happen after the new year? Once again, only Marushin knows what's going to happen.
This is simply for the convenience of the store, but we have received a large number of orders, especially for Automag, and we apologize to many customers for the inconvenience caused by the postponement.
Furthermore, there is no guarantee that other models announced since then will not be delayed in the same way, and in 2022, we began to wonder, "Is it really okay to continue taking pre-orders for new models?"
In fact, our store has received very few reservations for Marushin products this year.
Regarding the Mateba Revolver, which is scheduled to be released around May next year (this is still planned), we had received information about it at the beginning of December but had not yet started selling it.However, we received a request from a customer saying, "Let me reserve a Mateba!", so two weeks after receiving the information, we were spurred on by the customer and quickly began selling it.
What I realized about this incident is that there are many customers out there who are looking forward to receiving our products.
And the store should not impose restrictions on these customers based on its own arbitrary ideas.
It is up to each store to decide not to carry a product for reasons such as "this manufacturer is like this" or "there isn't much demand for this product anyway," and it is also part of the store's "character," but the fact is that there are actually a lot more fans than you would expect who are eagerly awaiting the product.
Marushin is one of my favorite manufacturers.
However, given the current situation, we were afraid of causing inconvenience to our customers and so we deliberately refrained from releasing information about new products.
This was not a good idea. As a shop owner, I have to properly introduce the products to customers first and foremost. It may be unavoidable if the product is something that I can definitely not recommend.
Automag is also likely experiencing production delays due to unavoidable circumstances caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
There are various reasons for this, such as some parts being unavailable, or there being a production defect and they are having to redo the work. If that wasn't the case, they wouldn't be able to release any other products in the first place.
Speaking of which, I've heard that Tanikoba has had to halt plans to build two model guns that he had planned to build at the end of this year due to defects in parts.
The same goes for Marui's Saiga.
Despite the various problems, everyone is working hard and moving forward, so we at our store must also devote ourselves to conveying the appeal of our products to everyone.
From now on, we will change our thinking and strive to provide our customers with reliable information on a variety of products, not just Marushin products.
You might be thinking, "That's long! What's that about?", but your opinion is entirely justified. This is just the ramblings of a shop assistant.
However, we are serious about making our ideas a reality.
Although our shop is still in its infancy, we hope you will continue to support us.
