The SIG MPX Copperhead (3.5 inch) is an ultra-compact 9mm personal defense weapon (PDW) developed by SIG. It features the shortest 3.5-inch barrel in the MPX series, designed to prioritize extreme portability and maneuverability.

It employs a short-stroke gas piston and rotating bolt operating system, offering high reliability and ease of use with controls similar to AR-style rifles. It also features ambidextrous selectors, magazine releases, bolt releases, and charging handles, making it easy to use for both right- and left-handed shooters.

The upper receiver has a monolithic structure, prioritizing compactness, which limits expandability such as handguard replacement, but significantly reduces size and weight.

Models equipped with a stabilizing brace are foldable and extendable, making them highly suitable for close-quarters firearm use, such as in vehicles or carried in bags. Since it uses 9mm ammunition, the recoil is relatively light, and while the muzzle flash is large, it offers excellent handling and control at close range.

This model represents the most extreme pursuit of the "more than a handgun, less than a rifle" balance characteristic of the MPX series, making it particularly popular among users who prioritize close-quarters defense, tactical use, and portability.
