The SRS monolithic receiver, CNC machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, features Desert Tech's patented new barrel mount.
It provides uniform clamping to the barrel, reducing stress concentration points. The SRS-A2 receiver is significantly lighter, contributing significantly to the overall weight reduction. Each receiver is engraved with a unique engraved serial number.
The handguard (made from aircraft-grade aluminum and CNC machined) uses the MLOK attachment system and has four QD points.
The SRS A2 receiver is equipped with a stainless steel tripod attachment point (1/4-20 UNC screw).
Compatible with Desert Tech monopod (patented) replicas. The top rail is detachable and can be replaced with multiple optional rails, including an M2 type rail.
The SRS Pull Bolt has an air capacity of 41cc, making it the second largest bolt action capacity on the market after the HTI. This bolt is compatible with all APS 13mm springs.
Stock spring specifications and muzzle energy vary by country, so please check. The cylinder is made of stainless steel (23.8mm caliber), and the integrated bolt handle is made of steel and equipped with an M8 bolt knob.
The piston features an aircraft-grade aluminum alloy body and head, a steel piston end, and a 70° synthetic rubber piston cup. The spring guide is made of glass-fiber reinforced nylon and is equipped with two damping O-rings and a thrust bearing.
The bolt dust cover is perforated, and the red piston serves as a loaded indicator.
The piston sear is steel, and the aluminum trigger is preload adjustable. The trigger housing is glass-reinforced nylon. The piston sear height is adjustable by moving the trigger box forward or backward. The steel safety is ambidextrous.
The outer barrel (CNC-machined, aircraft-grade aluminum) is deeply grooved and threaded (M14x1 CCW thread). It is equipped with a .308 QD muzzle brake (SBA-FHD-06). Proper muzzle brake timing adjustment is required when using the QD DTSS suppressor replica. The inner barrel (6.05 x 578 mm, brass) and hop-up rubber (silicon 60°) are AEG-style.
The bidirectional CNC aluminum hop-up unit mounts directly to the quick-change barrel assembly, allowing barrel changes in seconds while maintaining the hop-up setting. Hop-up settings are adjusted using the included key with two screws on the top of the receiver, without removing the barrel. Alternatively, you can use a hop-up with two large setting screws, sacrificing the quick-change function while maintaining the hop-up setting.
The stock and butt pad extensions (two types included) are made of glass-reinforced nylon.
*The 24mm positive fine thread threads found on various AK series rifles often have a pitch of P1.5mm, so muzzle devices sold as AK compatible and labeled as 24mm positive threads may not be compatible.
*Parts such as the piston sear and safety are made of steel and no zinc alloy is used.
