Product Description

[BORE UP Premier Cylinder]
●Inner diameter 23φ (bore up) ●Inner diameter tolerance ±1/100mm ●SUS304 (stainless steel) ●Laser welding used ●Parallel pin used
This stainless steel cylinder is one size larger than the VSR stock cylinder. The increased capacity allows for stable initial velocity even when using a low-rate spring.

[Tapered cylinder head]
This part determines how efficiently the air pushed out of the cylinder can be converted into output.
At PDI, we place the same importance on the inner barrel and chamber, and by using SUS303 and tapering the interior at an optimal angle, we have achieved output conversion that is greater than that of a regular shaped head.
Furthermore, the extended nozzle length optimizes the BB bullet holding position, resulting in stable output. The O-ring at the tip of the nozzle is suitable for improving airtightness within the chamber, reducing air loss.

[VC (Vacuum) Piston]
The piston is divided into four parts: the head and body are made of durable aluminum alloy, the ring is made of highly durable POM with excellent sliding properties because it comes into contact with the cylinder, and the rear end is made of carbon steel because it is the part that bears the most load and is attached to the sear. By using the right materials in the right places, we have created an ideal piston in terms of durability. The center of the head is equipped with a vacuum system that eliminates negative pressure. By eliminating the "bullet pullback" that occurs after firing the BB, it removes negative forces and allows the BB to fly straighter.

For more information about the VC system, please see here.

*Note: Regarding POM part colors:
Due to a shortage of raw materials (POM), it is becoming difficult to procure materials.
The color of the piston ring (POM) of the product you receive will be either white (POM) or black (POM) depending on the situation.

The design has changed from the November 2020 batch.
Changes
- Piston head design change
- Piston body design change
*There are no changes to the materials used.
*Although there has been a change in design, manufacturer testing has confirmed that the initial velocity and other specifications are the same as before the design change.

[Spring guide]
Since this part is susceptible to stress caused by the expansion and contraction of the spring when cocking, a POM thrust ring is installed at the base to reduce the load directly applied to the guide base.
The stainless steel is machined to ensure high dimensional accuracy, and the shaft is thoroughly polished to achieve a smooth spring action. This product is designed exclusively for VC (vacuum) pistons, so the shaft is shorter than the HD guide.

*This product is designed with a thick spring.
*Since the VSR-10 uses a special trigger system, cocking may become difficult after installation.
*The BORE UP cylinder has larger inner and outer diameters, so if you are installing it on a genuine receiver, please remove the support ring inside the receiver before use. If you are using a PDI BORE UP receiver, the inner diameter has been optimized so you can use it as is.
*Cylinders, cylinder heads, etc. are modified and improved every certain period (lot), so it may be difficult to assemble parts from older lots together with the latest lot. This can be resolved by assembling parts from the latest lots together.

※please note※
If you have customized your airsoft gun or replaced parts, be sure to measure the bullet speed using a bullet speed meter to ensure it is within the legal limit (possession of bullets over 0.98 J is prohibited). Also, be careful not to exceed the legal limit during the work.
