Tanaka S&W M36 2-inch "Lady Smith" HW Ver.2 Gas Gun

In 1989, Smith & Wesson (S&W) introduced a series of compact handguns for self-defense aimed at women.
This was the "Lady Smith" (hereafter abbreviated as LS) series. To completely change the rugged image of guns, the company focused on the appearance, equipping them with wooden grips reminiscent of high-end furniture, creating an elegant image that women would find easy to handle. This concept was devised by the company's capable female public relations officer, and the series has become a popular series that continues to this day.

Tanaka Works previously produced two Pegasus System gas revolvers, the "M36 LS" and "M60 LS," as limited edition collaboration models with the toy gun wholesaler Kyoei Tsusho.
Now, the Ladysmith is being revived in the Reiwa era as a general-purpose model from HW Models. The base model is the latest M36 Ver.2 heavyweight model of the S&W J-frame Pegasus gas gun, known for its smooth operation and shooting performance.
It also comes with a limited edition wooden grip made from the rare quince (Japanese quince). Extremely hard and heavy, with a rich reddish-brown color, this grip has also been updated to fit the times, with a weight added to the backside to create a "+Weight" grip, contributing to its increased weight.
The trigger hammer is also a high-end model with a case-hardened finish.
