These are expansion rails for mounting on the sides of the "Garfish."
They are primarily designed for use as top/bottom rails, but by adjusting the fixed angle of the handguard, they can also be used in a side-by-side configuration.
By combining a reinforced nylon resin rail with an aluminum core, we've achieved both practical strength and lightness. The bridge structure creates a distinctive yet sleek and clean form.
The rail height is designed to be flush with the receiver rail of a typical AR-style AEG. However, if the heights differ, the thickness of the spacer placed between the core material and the handguard body can be adjusted.
There are full-length rails for 5/7/10 inches, and a 4-segment (35mm) separate type. They are designed to attach to existing hardpoints on the handguard surface, but since they are φ4mm round holes, users with confidence in their craftsmanship can add more as they please.
The separate type, with its single point of fixation, is relatively easy to work with.
