Further improvements, such as a slimmer trigger and slightly shorter grip reach, have shed the conventional image of this model, earning it the recognition of Japan's SIT (Special Investigation Team) team. Its reliable control, even with thick gloves, further enhances the powerful blowback provided by the combination of HW material and System 7. Other features include a reinforced slide that has been redesigned from the traditional arched to a more trapezoidal shape to match practical sights, a modern 20mm underrail, a polymer recoil guide, a short barrel, and detailed engravings. This product boasts a slender, functional beauty that sets it apart from the M9.
