What is the MCX Hunter UKSF specification?

This model is a "Hunter UKSF Style" GBBR, a reproduction of one version of the SIG MCX Carbine, which is said to have been used by Royal Marine Commandos and UKSF (British Special Forces) in the new rifle selection program "Project Hunter" and in special operations testing. While the "MCX Hunter" name is not officially adopted, this model is faithfully based on the MCX configuration, with a 13-inch barrel and distinctive gooseneck-shaped handguard, as confirmed in training photos released by the UK Ministry of Defense and expert analysis.

The base MCX series features a short-stroke piston system and high modularity, and is a next-generation carbine with the expandability required for modern operations, such as folding stocks and suppressor compatibility, centered on 5.56mm and .300 BLK. Among them, this style, considered to be the UKSF specification, is attractive for its compact and practical appearance that emphasizes maneuverability for maritime operations, counter-terrorism missions, and close combat.
