The Trijicon RMR (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) Type-2 series is designed with a patented housing shape that absorbs shock and deflects stress away from the lens for increased durability, making it just as durable as the Trijicon ACOG.
The RMR Type-2 LED and RMR Type-2 Adjustable LED models feature redesigned and upgraded electronics from the Type-1 and are proven to function when mounted on slide-on pistols and other compact firearms.
It can also be mounted on the Trijicon ACOG series by using a dedicated mount.

The RMR Type-2 Adjustable LED has a button on the side of the unit that allows you to switch the dot brightness between manual and automatic modes, lock the button so it only works in automatic mode, and power it off for adjusting brightness in manual mode and storage.
The automatic mode works the same as the RMR Type-2 LED model, while the manual mode allows for eight brightness levels (including two in night vision mode).
Additionally, if you select manual mode, it will remain in manual mode for 16.5 hours after the last button press, and will default back to automatic mode after 16.5 hours.
