Tanaka "+Weight" Python Walnut Oversized Checkered Grip (Re-released August 26, 2025)

In the real gun world, companies are working hard to make their guns lighter to increase their practicality, but ironically, this is not the case with toy guns. On the contrary, there is a constant need for realistic weight, which is the exact opposite of what you would find with a real gun.

The "+Weight" series aims to increase the weight as much as possible by attaching weights to the back of the wooden grip.

This product is an oversized checkered grip made from American walnut that can be attached to all types of Colt Python. As the Python was sold as a luxury item, this is a carefully crafted grip that faithfully reproduces the convex, large-area checkering notches and unique silhouette that are time-consuming to produce.

While reproducing the classic Colt style, the weight is 140g, which is about twice as much as the wooden grip of the same type.

Only the highest quality black walnut wood is carefully selected for the lumber used, with a surface finish that brings out the wood grain, and the gloss and color are adjusted to match any color model.

While retaining the image of the original in terms of finish and appearance, it is made to be of higher quality and heavier, making it the perfect grip for enjoying toy guns.
