All Vortex Optics (hereinafter referred to as Vortex) products handled by ROCK-et (hereinafter referred to as our store) are handled by Sightron Japan, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as our authorized dealer), the only authorized Vortex distributor in Japan.

For this reason, the Vortex products sold by our store have their own warranty rules established by both the authorized dealer and Vortex. Depending on the amount of time that has passed since the date of purchase, one of the two warranty rules will apply.

A. Warranty for malfunctions within one year of purchase

The product warranty provided by the authorized dealer applies. Warranty claims must be made through the retailer, so please send the product to us first.

The repair or replacement will be carried out via the following route: Customer → Our store → Distributor → Vortex, and the product will be delivered to you via the same route. Depending on the store where you purchased the product, you may be required to pay the shipping costs for bringing it to the store, but we will cover all shipping costs.

This means that any malfunctions within one year of purchase are completely free of charge.

B. Warranty for malfunctions occurring more than one year after purchase

Vortex offers a lifetime international VIP warranty. Warranty claims must be made through your retailer, so please send the product to us first.

Since the product is sent from the retailer to Vortex in the United States, the customer would normally be charged for round-trip domestic and international shipping costs, but we will cover the cost of overseas shipping ourselves, which can be quite expensive.

In other words, even if more than a year has passed since your purchase, the lifetime warranty will still apply, and you will only be responsible for the domestic round-trip shipping costs between you and our store.

Vortex Warranty Policy

If your Vortex product becomes damaged or defective, Vortex will repair or replace it free of charge, or if the product cannot be repaired, replace it with a fully functional product in equal or better physical condition.

The warranty does not cover loss, theft, intentional damage, or damage that is cosmetic only.

This offer applies to all Vortex products, including riflescopes, prism scopes, red dot sights, rangefinders, binoculars, spotting scopes, tripods, and monoculars.

Distributors or retailers in countries other than the country of purchase may apply service fees to the VIP Warranty due to different rules and regulations in their countries. We recommend purchasing from a local distributor or retailer to ensure you receive the best service when needed.

Any products not imported into your country by an authorized Vortex distributor, including items brought into a country without payment of the necessary taxes and duties, are considered "gray market products" and are therefore not covered by any warranty. This includes parallel imports.

Warranty regulations set by our store

We only provide warranty coverage for products purchased from our store. We will not handle repair requests for Vortex products purchased elsewhere, even if they are genuine products, regardless of whether they are paid or free of charge.

When claiming a warranty, you will need two documents: the warranty card that came with the product and the delivery note that was given to you when you purchased it from our store. If you lose these documents, they will not be reissued, so please keep them in a safe place.

During the one-year warranty period provided by authorized dealers, our store will cover all shipping costs and provide a completely free warranty service.

If the International VIP Guarantee is applied after one year from the date of purchase, our store will cover the overseas shipping costs. The customer will only be responsible for the domestic round-trip shipping costs.

As a guideline, it will take approximately three to six months from the time you send the product to us for repair until we deliver the repaired product to you. Depending on logistics circumstances or the manufacturer's circumstances, it may take longer, but please note that we cannot be held responsible for this.
