In April 2018, it was announced that the M40 sniper rifle, which had been in service with the United States Marine Corps (USMC), would be replaced by the Mk13 Mod 7.

This model combines a folding Accuracy International AICS stock with a Remington Arms M700 receiver, uses .300 win mag bullets, and has an effective range of 1,300 meters, up from 1,000 meters for the M40.

This bolt-action air-cocking gun, modeled by Archwick, is officially licensed by Accuracy International and meticulously recreates the shape of the real gun, down to the smallest detail, based on measurements taken from the actual gun.

The main parts such as the receiver, outer barrel, chamber, cylinder, and piston are manufactured using CNC machining.

The Keymod handguard is fitted with a bipod stud and also has a QD sling socket.

In addition, the separately sold SF SOCOM762-RC type QD silencer can be used with steel hiders attached with a standard M14 reverse thread.

The large box magazine is a dummy, and the magazine for BB bullets has an insertion port located inside the handguard.
